Disney Teams Up with Bridal Designer to Create Frozen Inspired Wedding Dress!

For all you ladies who are positively obsessed with the movie Frozen (don’t worry, no judgment!) and have aspirations of looking like the stunning Queen Elsa, this might be good news: Disney has reportedly teamed up with bridal designer Alfred Angelo to create a Frozen-inspired wedding dress modeled after Elsa’s iconic, sparkly ice-blue gown!

The dress, which will be part of the 2015 Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings by Alfred Angelo bridal collection, is described on Disney Weddings’ Ever After Blog as an “ice blue softly flared sheath gown… dramatically beaded to glisten like sunlight on fresh fallen snow… [with] a sweetheart neckline and dramatic Watteau train.

Brides-to-be will be able to purchase the dress starting January 2015 at Alfred Angelo stores in the U.S. and from specialty retailers all over the world.

Can’t wait to see the finished product? Here are some beautiful Frozen-esque dresses (rocked by celebs on the red carpet) to hold you over until then:

Katy Perry’s Elie Saab gown at the 2012 Grammy Awards is a bit more conservative than Elsa’s slinky dress, but it certainly gives off that “Snow Queen” vibe, doesn’t it?

At last year’s Emmy Awards, Julianne Hough showed some serious skin in a Jenny Packham gown that had some Frozen elements to it–specifically the sparkles, the gauzy skirt, and the pale icy color. If Elsa was a bit more daring, this would have been a great look for her.

So what if it’s skimpy? The cold never bothered her anyway.

Elizabeth Olsen’s 2014 Met Ball dress is so very Frozen-esque that I’m very inclined to believe that the people over at Miu Miu–or perhaps the brand’s head honcho Miuccia Prada herself–are huge Frozen fans.

What do you think? Would you wear a Frozen-inspired wedding dress?
