Ranch Cheese Ball Recipe


Everyone loves to get together over the summer and share a glass of wine, a cup of lemonade or even a tall cool beer with friends once in a while. And with a drink, of course, it is fun to have an appetizer or two to go around. Here is a cheese ball recipe that is super simple to make, yet tastes great with crackers or chips.

Ranch Cheese Ball

2 packages of cream cheese, softened

1 package of dry ranch dressing mixture

2 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or another kind if you want a spicier cheese ball)

1 c chopped pecans

In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese and the ranch packet. Stir in the shredded cheese and combine until well mixed. Set aside.

Place a sheet of plastic wrap or waxed paper on the counter. Spray with non-stick cooking spray. Place the cheese mixture over the top and shape in to a ball using the plastic or waxed paper to keep your hands clean. Once you have the ball shape, place in the refrigerator for several hours to harden before serving.

Once you remove the cheese, roll in the pecans before serving. Add crackers or pita chips to your tray and enjoy!
