Cinco de Mayo Margarita Recipes


margarita recipeCinco de Mayo is only a couple of days away…are you ready? Of course not, because you don’t have the blender out or your margarita glasses ready. So go get them, here are a few recipes to enjoy!

Blended Lime Margaritas:

These margaritas are tasty with a bit of zing to them. The tasty concoction is in the blended form, so have your blender handy to get a few batches whipped up.

1 6 oz can limeade concentrate – frozen

6 oz tequila

2 oz triple sec

Pour all of the ingredients in to a blender with crushed ice. Blend until the mixture is the desired consistency that you want. Garnish with a lime and enjoy!

Margaritas on the rocks:

2 c sweet and sour mix

1 ½ c tequila

1 c triple sec

1/3 c orange liqueur

2 limes cut in to quarters

Fill 8 glasses with ice. In a blender, combine triple sec, tequila, sweet & sour and liqueur. Blend until well mixed. Pour over the ice in glasses. Squeeze lime quarter over each drink. Serve with salt on the glass rims if desired.

Sweet Blended margarita:

4 oz amaretto

6 oz can frozen limeade

6 oz tequila

½ c orange juice

Ice

In a blender, pour in 6 c ice, tequila, amaretto, OJ and limeaid. Mix until the ice is blended. Pour in to glasses.
