Cinco de Mayo Sangria Punch Recipe

sangria punch recipeInstead of just serving margaritas at your Cinco de Mayo party, mix it up a little bit. Offer other drinks that could be Mexican inspired, such as the sangria punch recipe. It is refreshing, tasty and not so hard on your liver afterwards!

Sangria Punch Recipe

2 bottles of Sangria

1 liter of club soda

1 12 oz can of frozen limeade concentrate

1/4 c raspeberry liqueur

In a large pitcher or a punch bowl, add all of the ingredients. Stir well. Place in a refrigerator or add a fancy ice sculpture to it to keep chilled. Keep the punch chilled until serving.

The punch bowl can be garnished with chopped fruit or fruit frozen in to ice cubes. Oranges, cherries and limes look nice added to the pitcher or the side of the serving glass. Serve in wine glasses, margarita glassesĀ or tall tumblers.

If you are having a large party, the recipe can be doubled as long as you have a container large enough to hold all of the mixture.
